Frequently asked questions

Why is your collection so limited?

All items in the shop are handmade by me. As I have another full-time job, these pieces are made outside of my 9-5 working hours. Learn more about Opora handmade here.

Which materials do you use?

All bags are made from sustainable materials, such as deadstock fabric, leftover furniture fabric, upcycled items… I use brass hardware and metal zippers. For more information about a particular bag, check the product page.

My favourite item is sold out. Do you restock?

It depends on how much fabric I have left. If you would like to know whether or not an item will be restocked, send an email to info@opora-handmade.com. Restocks and launch dates of new collections do not have a fixed timing.

What are ‘one of a kind’ items?

I mostly work with leftover or deadstock fabrics, which means that only a few items can be made in a particular fabric. When I only have enough fabric for one bag, this item gets the tag ‘one of a kind’. This means that your bag is truly unique, because there is only one made in this particular fabric.
